Staff formation

Staff, groups and individuals seeking formation opportunities are invited to visit, book a tour and use our conference facilities and chapel. Our mission and formation page has downloadable resources for formation leaders planning their own exhibition tours.

General tours

Everyone is welcome to the Heritage Centre! We are open Tuesday - Thursday 10am - 3pm or by appointment. Please don’t hesitate to enquire about an alternate time.

Guided and self-guided tours are available.

  • Parking

    On-street parking is limited and reserved parking can be arranged prior to your visit. Cars may set down and pick up visitors in front of the main entrance. Large vehicles are advised not to enter Rockwall Crescent.

  • Entry & exit

    Entrance to the Heritage Centre is via a ramp with a buzzer for entry located to the right. The emergency exit to the rear of the exhibition contains a short staircase, if level egress is required you should exit through the front doors.

  • Lift

    All floors are accessible via lift. The historic chapel contains uneven floor surfaces.

  • Seating

    There is comfortable seating throughout the Heritage Cenhre. There is however minimal seating moving through the exhibition space. Extra seating can be provided.

  • Amenities

    Amenities for the exhibition space include an accessible toilet and a foyer seating area with position-adjustable tables.

  • Accessibility

    Interactives in the exhibition are located at an accessible height. Light levels in the exhibition can be adjusted for visitors with low vision. The exhibition theatrette includes an inducted hearing loop system.
