Students reflect

  • When the class went to the Sisters of Charity Heritage Centre, I instantly got the impression that the Sisters helped others and took care of others more than themselves and were selfless and generous.

    — Joanna, year 7

  • I loved seeing the antique hospital chair. The chair reminded me of the good works the Sisters of Charity perform, especially in the medical industry. I’m glad that I’m joining a community that welcomes all and shows lots of generosity of spirit.

    — Florence year 7

  • I enjoyed going to the heritage centre as it was very informative and I was fascinated looking at old artefacts and relics.

    — Serena, year 7

  • The Heritage Centre was a place where I felt very comfortable and calm. It has a great feel and expressees so much meaning and understanding through the significant artefacts and paintings.

    — Matisse year 7

  • I enjoyed looking at they key, as even though it was simply to Tarmons, to me it projected more than just that. It showed the key to kindness, how to work with patients and the poor. It really spoke to me in a way, showing that everyone here is part of making tomorrow better than today, by having the key to compassion and kindness.

    — Taylor year 7
