Covid safety visitor information

Overview

The Sisters of Charity Heritage Centre is committed to protecting the health of our visitors, volunteers and staff. We ask our visitors not to attend the Centre if required to stay home under public health orders. We are always happy to re-book. We will continue to monitor the advice of NSW Health accordingly and update our guidance as appropriate. Thank you for helping us continue to keep our visitors and staff safe by following these guidelines.

What we are asking of our visitors

  • Wear masks in all indoor spaces whilst visiting

  • Refrain from visiting if you are unwell, or experiencing cold and flu symptoms

  • Use hand sanitiser upon arrival and throughout your visit

  • Respect social distancing guidelines for other visitors and staff

What we are doing to keep visitors safe

  • Our staff continue to wear masks to protect themselves and others

  • Limiting the number of visitors within the exhibition space and around the Heritage Centre

  • Limiting seating to support social distancing

  • Providing masks for our visitors should they require PPE

  • Providing hand sanitiser at entry and throughout the building

  • Cleaning regularly with hospital disinfectant solutions and disinfecting high-touch items between visits

  • All onsite staff are fully vaccinated.

We are working hard to provide a safe environment for visitors, but we can’t guarantee you won’t be exposed to COVID-19. By entering the Heritage Centre you assume the risk of such exposure.

In the instance of increased community Covid transmission, the Heritage Centre may deem it appropriate to reschedule your booking. This will be communicated in writing ahead of schedule.
